Ichamara is the name of the community washing station and settlement in Nyeri County, Kenya. The Ichamara washing station is one of five in central Kenya that is managed by the majority women operated New Gikaru Coffee Growers Cooperative. Farmers in this part of Kenya are typically more small scale, each growing about 250 coffee trees on half acre plots. When brewing this coffee you can expect a juicy cranberry acidity, honey sweetness, and lemon zest finish.
