Inambari Cooperative is one of eight coops who export coffee through CECOVASA, based in Juliaca, the capital of Puno, Peru. The coffee producing area resides 10 hours travel time from HQ, across a great plains and down into a thick jungle, ranging from 1500 - 2100 meters in altitude. Members of the coop typically own 2.5 acres of land, often hiring each other’s neighbors to help with the harvest and processing. This lot yields rich flavors of chocolate nougat and roasted cashew, while a surprising and crisp acidity offers flavors of quince jam.
