The Santa Barbara region is renowned for producing the highest quality and most beautifully complex coffees in Honduras. Two names associated with the surge in quality coming out of Honduras are the Moreno family and Benjamin Paz. La Orquidia happens to be under co-ownership by these two renowned producers. This is the first year that their new farm has been able to yield high-quality coffee and the results are impressive. Expect La Orquidia to deliver a lime-like acidity with an apricot-like sweetness and prominent nutty flavors reminiscent of hazelnuts.
